Key Assertions

Desires can be realized by focusing on positive inner speech.

To have your dreams fulfilled, hold on to the feeling that arises from your wish to be fulfilled and do so despite all criticism or obstacles.

Focusing on what is missing in your life; complaining; limiting your thoughts to past actions rather than on what you intend to manifest; and using hate, anger, and condemnation rather than kindness and love, are sure ways to make sure your dreams are not fulfilled.

Avoid condensing your nighttime dreams into only personal warnings or advice (dreams are far more than that).

By looking at the realm of intention, one realizes that desires can be realized by focusing on positive inner speech. Holding on to the feeling that arises from the wish to be fulfilled and doing so despite all criticism or obstacles fulfills wishes. That really works.

Here’s what doesn’t: focusing on what is missing in your life; complaining; limiting your thoughts and actions to what has always been rather than on what you intend to manifest; and using hate, anger, and condemnation rather than kindness and love.

HumaNatureConnect Activity

Lowering Your Environmental Impact By Tracking Your Intentions

For this activity, track your intentions. Every action is preceded by an intention and every intention and action has a consequence in the environment, some more than others. You had an intention that caused you to pick the current natural being for this connection experience. Think about how you may need to change your direction, personality, and attitudes in ways that both make you happier and limit your impact on the environment. Use this activity to prepare the way to stretch towards a new way of being. Perhaps subconsciously or consciously you stretched towards your present chosen natural being because in some way it is a reflection of some intention you have or need to form. Often, one’s intentions are hidden in the subconscious mind. To reveal these hidden gems, make a list of the attributes you like about your chosen natural being and then look over the list to see if there are patterns or correspondences in your list that suggest that you are intending (wanting) or need to intend (want) something that has previously been a low priority or beneath your awareness. In other words, since you may be picking the natural being because you subconsciously seek to emulate that being in some way, examine what it is about your chosen natural being that is lacking in yourself and what it is about your chosen natural being that you may like to develop in yourself. For example, if your chosen natural beings are blades of grass, leaves, water, or other flexible objects, you may be hiding from yourself your intention to be more changeable or lenient. The goal here is to look for attractive attributes that you share with your chosen natural being or you would like to have in common with your chosen being. Before and after you make your list of admired attributes think about aspects of your life and the life of the Greater Self that need to be repaired or changed. Highlight the attributes that will lower your environmental impact. All of your attributes will have some direct or indirect impact. In your journal, describe the relations between your attractive attributes and the nearby or chosen natural being or environment.

Nocturnal Pilgrimage

If you cannot interact with your presently occurring nighttime dreams or control them to some extent, then simply remember them by writing them down in your journal as soon as you wake up.
