The Heartwood Path leads to success by helping you improve your health, character, relationships, and income, in part, by helping you examine your own inner world. Turning “inward” to your own psycho/spiritual Self helps the “outward” tangible environment because when you turn your thoughts to the spiritual realm of The Absolute, the physical realm responds to Its higher call.
The Heartwood Path cannot, figuratively speaking, change a duck into an eagle; but it can make a duck into the best duck it can be.
As you continue down the Heartwood Path you have an opportunity to benefit from the same process of “Spirit-in-Action” used by those who have made the greatest contributions to humanity—Confucius, Lao Tzu, Buddha, Jesus, Mohammed, Socrates, and others. All of these great individuals spent a considerable amount of time withdrawn from others while they soothed their own pains, cleared up private confusions, and advanced their own spiritual maturity. Once these great contributors withdrew from others for enough time to sufficiently fortify themselves, they were then ready to complete their own personal spiritual work by applying their own profound spiritual realizations to the service of others.
