One receives mixed results when one has scattered thoughts. Whatever goes on in one’s mind is pulled into manifestation in a way that matches the thoughts. The Draw Law pulls what one wants most into one’s life.

When one falls into tune with the universe (attunement), as described in a previous waypoint, it becomes readily apparent that a precise and powerful universal law affects everything and everyone. This law controls the pattern that connects. Since it controls the way everything is drawn together, I prefer to call it “the Draw Law.” According to this tenet, thoughts and things of a like nature are attracted to one another. One rhythm, for example, will entrain with another and one musical note will resonate with a like note because matching frequencies are drawn to one another.

Thoughts too have their own frequencies. So, under the influence of the Draw Law, whatever goes on in one’s mind is pulled into manifestation in a way that matches the thoughts. Each person is like a powerful magnet. Each thought attracts like thoughts, both within oneself and within others. When one limits one’s thoughts to what one wants the most, the Draw Law pulls what one wants most yinto one’s life.

One receives mixed results when one has scattered thoughts. Negative thoughts (having a certain frequency) become negative things (of a matching frequency); and, in a like manner, positive thoughts become positive things. In this way one’s thoughts become the cause and one’s life becomes the effect.

Since you are always thinking you are always creating. Whatever you think about the most will become your life. For these reasons it is important to change the way one thinks to keep the music of one’s thoughts uncomplicated, clear, and positive.

Before one learns to control one’s scattered thinking, one spends much time thinking about what one does not want. The frequency of thinking about what one does not want is the same frequency as the things one does want. The Draw Law does not compute negation. It does not recognize the negatives in one’s thinking. So, thinking that one does not want to be fat, for example, makes one fat. Thinking that one does not want a polluted environment tends to manifest a polluted environment. The law responds to the subject of one’s thinking and not one’s desires about the subject. The answer to this dilemma is to limit one’s thoughts and then make sure these thoughts are positive. Think, for example, about being thin rather than not wanting to be fat, or about a clean environment rather than not wanting a polluted environment.

At this point along the Heartwood Path we come to a fork in the road: the hard, paved road to the left can only be driven on with the help of the human Ego; conversely, the soft, organic trail to the right requires less technology to traverse, but it requires the help of a spiritual connection to Nature. Following the road to the left (towards pollution, greed, an Ego gratification) often leads to miasms (pervasive influences that tend to deplete, corrupt, decay, or even kill). Despite these ill-effects, many people still risk following the left road. When they do, they are usually rewarded with increased material possessions and other Ego-driven benefits, at least in the short term.

These rewards come at a high cost, particularly in the areas of nutrition, immunity, and health. For the long run, the road to the left is clearly the wrong way. The right way is the path that leads to better nutrition for the natural body, enrichment for the natural mind, and fulfillment for the natural spirit. One can choose to follow the right path—the wu Wei. Optimal flow is achieved, in part, by balancing within one’s life both active and quiet elements. The following exercise will help set you on a good course.

To An Examination Of Thrusting And Acceptance In Your Life…

HumaNatureConnect Activity

If this is not a day when you prefer to spend time in nature without an agenda, do the following activity:

Renewing Yourself Through The Yin And Yang In Your Life

For this activity, describe what is quiet yin in your life. Describe how, if at all, you renew yourself after spending time around busy people and noise? Describe how, if at all, you bring greater active yang into your life after you spend long hours quietly bringing passive yin into your life. Do you force yourself to be quiet or active? What can you do to allow for a more relaxed balance of both yin and yang in your life?

Nocturnal Pilgrimage

Tend To Your Dreams Before Heading To The Next Waypoint

Keep heading on your way down the Heartwood Path, both day and night. During the day, pause regularly in nature to prepare yourself for each new HumaNatureConnect Activity.
