Go With The Flow
All photos, unless specified otherwise, are taken by Don Pierce.
There is an interconnectedness of all things, a pattern that connects. There is a subtle perfection and order to the world, an “implicit order" of the universe (which eastern practitioners call “wu Wei”). Getting into the flow of this order, by generally not forcing things, is the art of right living. Living in this way is not easily understood by the intellect alone; and understanding wu Wei requires the kind of attunement with the Soul described above.

HumaNatureConnect Activity
Generating Patterns Of Human-Nature Interaction # 4: Interacting With The Periodicity Of Nature
For this activity, interact with the periodicity of nature after you feel connected to your chosen attractive natural being. You could be thinking about growing tomatoes in a hydroponic greenhouse (a perverse interaction pattern) or you could be thinking about planting a garden in your backyard (a domestic interaction pattern). By choosing to picking wild blackberries at the edge of a forest at sunrise (a wild interaction) would be doing something that has a more positive psychological affect on you. In your journal, write down what meaning you derived from this wild interaction pattern; what joy, if any, your experience of watching the rising or setting of the sun produced; how, if at all, the experience built within you a bond between your mind and nature; and how, if at all, the wild version of this interaction pattern was better for you than the perverse or domestic instantiation of the same interaction pattern; and how not being allowed to participate in this sort of wild interaction pattern––watching a sunrise or sunset–– would make you feel? How does interacting in this way in the presence of your attractive natural being make you feel? How would it feel to have this interaction without the presence of your attractive natural being? In writing down these responses you will be adding to our collective nature language, so important to rekindling the bond between humans and nature. Look over your impressions and think about them as you fall asleep tonight before dreaming.

Third Stabilization Technique For Lucid Dreaming
You have already learned about keeping calm, spinning, engaging the senses, and not getting too wrapped up in the nocturnal event as ways to stabilize the lucid dream. There are more. Use the the following recommended stabilization tip whenever your lucid dreams start to go out of focus:
Be in command. If your dream starts to fade yell “clarity!” Yelling “Stabilize! or “more lucidity” also works.
With the information from this waypoint in mind, prepare for sleep. Relax as a way to induce sleeping and dreaming. Do something soothing.
