Understand The Pull Of The Three Opposing Cosmic Forces
These forces include:
With these three forces working simultaneously, the Universe can be said to be differentiated into four realms, with each realm increasing in organizational depth over time (from the spirit filled, formlessness of the Void—to the physical—to the living—to the mental—to the Soul—and to the Spirit again.). The four realms of the universe are the same as those represented on the Four-leaf Model of Integrity:
The third force—the pull to dissolve against the pull to add organizational depth—either adds depth or disintegration to each of the four realms.
With all of these pulls working on you, you may have a sense that your own individual freedom is being modified and, in a sense, it is. You are an individual but you are not independent of the three opposing forces. You retain, however, the freedom of choosing your own, thoughts, perspectives, and behaviors. To increase this freedom, do the following activity.
If this is not a day when you prefer to spend time in nature without an agenda, do the following activity:
Cultivating The Freedom Of Thought And Expansion Of Perspective
HumaNatureConnect Activity: Cultivating The Freedom Of Thought And Expansion Of Perspective. With pen and journal in hand, go to an attractive natural area and, in a spirit of appreciation, look around you to find something that is attractive to you. Once you find an aspect of nature that is attractive to you continuously for at least ten seconds, use the optimal functioning you receive along with your continued attraction (which can be thought of as your consent to do this activity with the help of the attractive natural being) to open your door to freedom by looking at things from a variety of unusual and extreme perspectives. Determine how you can best take time off for reflection, how you can take time for observation, and how you can read a lot. Determine how you can learn more from children. Pin-point where in your life you need to remain more open-minded. Solicit feed back from others you admire. And make a list of one hundred questions that you deem significant. Start by listing ten such questions in your journal.
Natural Systems Reflection Process
For best results, write down your impressions of this activity in your journal using as many of the following components as you see fit, afterwards, share your interpretations with others.
